The moment you see 'Scrappy Golem is preparing Nail Gun!' — activate Shield Up! (Turtle), use Ice Shard to freeze it (Cat Elementalist), or use your highest burst to finish it before the special fires. Its 2% dodge means your attacks land almost every time — use that to end the fight fast.
